Royal Blood: Trouble's Coming - LP

The single 'Trouble's Coming', heralding their third studio album, represents a significant step for Royal Blood. On it, the band organically combines its vital hard rock style with new influences. The existing heavyweight sound is refreshed with a dance rhythm, as if AC/DC found themselves at a disco. But as singer and bassist Mike Kerr says: “The dance beat made the riffs feel so much sharper than before.”

One of the most talked-about names on the current guitar scene. Mike Kerr and Ben Thatcher hail from Brighton, England. Much like The White Stripes or The Black Keys, their musical roots are in primal blues rock, with critics most often using the term modern garage rock to describe them. Royal Blood play with a very minimalist and unique instrumental line-up of bass guitar and drums. They don't use any pre-recorded tapes or machines, yet they manage to create a full and truly dense sound with the help of pedal effects.
