Running Wild: Pile Of Skulls (Expanded Version) (2x CD) - CD

As part of the catalogue activity, the German power metal legend's studio albums are being reissued on vinyl and CD. These are newly remastered recordings, which are always expanded on the CD with a few bonus tracks. Among them is the seventh studio album Pile Of Skulls from 1992. It is the last recording with guitarist Alex Morgan.

They come from Hamburg, where they were founded in 1976. Running Wild are one of the most popular German power metal bands. Initially, their lyrics featured satanic symbolism, but later they adopted historical themes and wrote songs about pirates. Although they announced their closure in 2009, they returned three years later and released their sixteenth album Rapid Foray in 2016.
