S+H Theatre: Hurvínek's Old Tales - CD

As we all know, nothing is sacred to Hurvínek, and sometimes he not only gets everything muddled up but also has to have his say in everything. This recording shows what happens when he takes on a formidable verbal duel with his dad Spejbl and the seemingly impartial Mánička over a version of Jirásek's Old Czech Legends. The script was written years ago by Miloš Kirschner, together with Vladimír Straka. Kirschner's masterful interpretation of Spejbl and Hurvínek elevated this playful piece from the S+H Theatre's production to the ranks of the "evergreens"!
