Sand Eaters

What does an ordinary Sister Peach Day look like? Will the Cobra River Boys manage to uncover all the secrets? Can Father Milchama spend a normal evening as Myrtil with Professor Rosnička? How will the sledge race end? Can you rob a sweet shop without consequences? You will find the answers to these and many other questions in the sequel to the novel Mořičvíl, this time in six stories from the town above the Tree River. James Blond, Jeroným, Miss Zuzanka and other heroes return in top form. Denny Newman (1975) is still a relatively young Czech author. After graduating from a mathematics and physics grammar school, he worked as a painter, a shop assistant, a bar guitar player and a café layabout. He has been writing since the age of seven (How the Aeroplane Ran Out of Fuel, 1982). He collects roof tiles from all over the world, comics, has a cat named Tereza and respects the classics. He is single, unattached (that was a personal ad), and a member of Slávek Janoušek's text workshop (that was an advertisement). 180 cm, Caucasian, Nordic type, a bit of a handyman, likes to listen: dennysak.blogspot.com.
