Saving Private Ryan - 4K Ultra HD

Steven Spielberg's critically and publicly acclaimed film is set in the first days of the Allied invasion of Normandy in early June 1944.
The Second World War was the defining event of the 20th century and a decisive turning point in American history. It changed the world's borders and is now called "the last great war". However, even the best training could not prepare the Allied soldiers for what awaited them after landing on Omaha Beach. Although filled with determination and belief in victory, few survived the battle for this small stretch of the French coast.

From the perspective of Captain John Miller, it is clear that he is aware of the danger awaiting his unit. However, he does not suspect that this is far from the most difficult task he and his soldiers will have to accomplish. Captain Miller's (Tom Hanks) eight-man squad is ordered to find Private Ryan, whose three brothers have already fallen on the front line. But it is a very dangerous mission. They are all haunted by the question of whether it is worth risking eight lives to save one.
