Saxon: Thunderbolt / Digipack (2018) - CD

Heavy metal veterans SAXON are delighted to announce that their twenty-second album, "Thunderbolt", was released on 2nd February 2018 via Militia Guard (Silver Lining Music).

Frontman Biff Byford reveals about the new album: "It's a stormy, crashing and thundering collection of songs that we have been crafting with producer, Andy Sneap. It's finished and ready to be unleashed. Stay tuned and hold on to your hats!"

Their twenty-second album "Thunderbolt" will also feature the song "They Played Rock And Roll", dedicated to MOTÖRHEAD and their late frontman, Lemmy. SAXON are, of course, also planning a world tour to support the new album "Thunderbolt". These British legends will perform in the Czech Republic at the beginning of August at the Ostrava v plamenech 2018 festival.
