School education in the UK

The publication School Education in Great Britain is a follow-up to the previously published book School Education in Germany (Karolinum, Prague 2008), and as in the previous case it is an analytical and comparative study focused this time on the development, current state and ongoing reform of the school system in the United Kingdom. Thesis V. Ježková and D. Dvořák's book, which is supplemented by a summarizing concluding chapter from the pen of English authors from the University of Manchester, mainly brings foreign knowledge that can be used in domestic education policy, especially in primary education and lower and higher secondary education.
