Scout versus rebel

Forced by the army, backwoodsman Davis accompanies a military convoy carrying heavy weapons across the mountains, along with Corporal Boone Nankin, with whom he has been at odds from the very start. The convoy is ambushed by a band of rebels led by Tex Kilgore, and the only survivors of the attack are the fleeing corporal and Davis, whom the rebels want to use to cross the mountains. Before the corporal can bring help, Davis must face the unpredictability of the rebels alone, who – as he discovers – are a threat to each other as well.
