Secret party

The eleventh case for Detective Inspector Lottie Parker. This will take your breath away! Seventeen-year-old Lucy is found brutally murdered in her bedroom. It seems a wild party took place in the house the previous day, without the knowledge of her parents, who are on holiday. Detective Inspector Lottie Parker soon discovers that Lucy also invited her classmate Hannah to the party, only to maliciously humiliate her in front of everyone. When Lottie finds Lucy's blood-stained clothes in Hannah's backpack, she has no choice but to take the terrified girl into custody. However, Hannah claims she can't remember anything because someone must have drugged her drink, which raises doubts in Lottie's mind about her guilt. Meanwhile, the body of a fifteen-year-old boy who was bartending at the party is found in a drain. To her horror, Lottie also discovers that her son Sean, whom she herself had picked up from the party, secretly returned in the early hours to retrieve a forgotten jacket. Why did he lie to her? Is her beloved child a witness, a suspect... or the killer's next target? The book was originally published by Euromedia Group, a.s. under the Kalibr imprint in 2025.
