SH / Jazz Quintet: SH / Jazz Quintet - CD

The first full-length album SHQ was created at the turn of August and September 1964.At that time, the ensemble played in a very creative line-up, which included Laco Deczi, Jan Arnet and Laco Tropp in addition to the founders Karel Velebný and Jan Konopásek. Lubomír Dorůžka wrote in a review for the magazine Melodie: “Overall, the album is actually our first jazz LP recorded according to international customs: i. e. capturing a single ensemble in a stylish and well-chosen repertoire. And it is also a film that we can be proud of in foreign competition without embarrassment. ”
