SHQ: Jazz fairy tales - CD

The album Jazzové nebajky, recorded in June 1972, is one of the highlights of the discography of the SHQ ensemble.

In his review, Ivan Poledňák stated: “I admit quite openly that I like this music; I think it belongs to the best recordings of the Velební ensemble. It' s jazz ' obvious' (but that' s the most obvious, as we know! ), it has a rich atmosphere, life pulsates in it, it sparkles with a lot of delicate musical pranks (deliberately ' naive' sound painting is just an excuse for them). In a poll by the Czech Jazz Society (1998), Jazz Nebraky was declared “the best domestic jazz record before 1989“.
