Sign of Judas

An unprecedented crime has been committed at Prague Castle. One night, the provincial judge Dobřej was murdered right in the official palace and a dagger with satanic symbols was found in his body. King Přemysl II. Otakar has no confidence in the people at his court, so he entrusts the investigation to young Oldrich from Chlum. This, of course, displeases the provincial officials, especially when rumours begin to circulate that the king intends to entrust the Bezděz administrator with the influential office of provincial judge. Therefore, the Prague purgrave and the chamberlain begin to investigate on their own and accuse the nephew of the murdered judge Kriszistan. The king sentences the young man to death, but Oldřich of Chlum has his doubts, as it turns out that there is a lost file marked "Judas".
