Sigur Ros: Odin's Raven Magic (2x LP) - LP

Sigur Rós are an Icelandic post-rock band from Reykjavík, who incorporate various experimental techniques and minimalist elements into their music.

Although in most cases this is not classical music in the truest sense of the word, in today's world of various fusions, crossovers, and the general blurring of boundaries between different genres and types of music, Sigur Rós are certainly closer to classical than many singers who present themselves as "classical" but are in fact pop. Even their instrumental "arsenal", which they have used at various stages of their career, is impressive: synthesiser, piano, electronic organ, guitar, flute, whistle, oboe, banjo, drums, bowed guitar, bass guitar, harmonica, glockenspiel.
