Silence - DVD

Silence can be the most pernicious sound.

In the middle of the 17th century, Japan was completely closed to contact with Western powers and Christianity was outlawed. Two Portuguese Jesuits, Father Rodrigues (Andrew Garfield) and Father Garupe (Adam Driver), set out for the land of the rising sun with a very dangerous goal: to find his teacher, Father Ferreira (Liam Neeson), who allegedly renounced his faith. In a country where Christians are persecuted and brutally tortured, young monks face the most difficult test of faith and perseverance they may not be prepared for. ´.
