Silver & Poison: the Elixir of Lies

The last thing Avery needs right now is to attract the attention of the police. You see, besides her talent as a poisoner, which allows her to mix magical concoctions that affect people's minds, the young barmaid is also hiding the fact that she belongs to a notorious gang.
But when a series of mysterious murders takes place in New York, she finds herself in the sights of Detective Hayes, who heads a special NYPD department dedicated to all things related to the world of magic.
And so these two – poisoner Avery Bishop and Detective Adam Hayes – must work together, reviving their old childhood friendship, which, however, hides a very dark secret.
However, there's much more happening in New York's magical world, and the very existence of mages is under threat. How is Avery's other special gift connected to this, and how much will change for her and Detective Hayes?
