Singing Translator

Are the gods real, or have people been living in lies and deception for centuries?

The mysterious Harbinger has landed on the North Point. He awakens the ancient paganism in the landscape and the inhabitants of the Sword flock to him like moths to a flame. They are all moving south to meet the rejected king, but he will not allow such insolence.
Beyond the borders of horned Adalon, amidst the desolate, dark forests, the Translator was born of death. He sets out to find and free his enslaved friends - but to do so, he will have to find a previously unrecognised level of courage and determination.
Children with strong blood are disappearing from the world and the secret order of the sowraga is slowly but surely dying out. However, a suitable candidate does come to Wanora. But before the only girl among the newcomers can drink Okha'tats blood, she will have to go through training that will strain her physical and mental strength beyond endurance.
And finally, there's a peculiar sailor obsessed with a rotten woman. Breaking free from the snares of the beautiful witch seems all but impossible, so it's time to break the promise, set sail to meet her dark love and undergo the hardest test of all - the test of human will.

They wrote about the book:

Jan Hamouz brings a classic fantasy with occasional elements of magic and supernatural set in a medieval setting. The sweeping epic narrative is entertaining and keeps the reader's attention just by not knowing what's coming and what's actually important. But it offers many dramatic moments, strong human stories, intrigue and emotions, as well as interesting revelations.

The Third Ear, like Half King, is a slow and dense narrative. But it's worth it - every page.
