Sisters
CSI Servaz returns to his first case. Volume 5 of the bestselling series.
Please pay special attention to the books marked with the gold seal of the TOP Edition! They are preceded by a reputation as the world's greatest bestsellers, which have been warmly received by critics and readers alike or have won major literary awards. May 1993. Martin Servaz, a rookie police officer, is involved in a failed investigation into the double murder of nuns dressed in First Communion dresses. The crime scene is strikingly reminiscent of a scene from a book by Erik Lang, a well-known thriller author who fails to be convicted. Twenty-five years later, Servaz is called to investigate a mysterious death in the same writer's house. Will they be able to find the connection between the two cases and catch the killer?
Bernard Minier
Bernard Minier grew up in the south-west of France and spent his childhood in the Pyrenees. He studied at the University of Toulouse, where Martin Servaz, the protagonist of several of his thrillers, comes from. He has lived near Paris for more than twenty years, is married and has two children. Before Minier surprised French readers and critics in 2011 with his detective novel Frost, he worked as a customs officer. This belated, and perhaps therefore mature, debut won several awards, such as the Elle magazine Readers' Choice Award (in the mystery category) and, most notably, the Prix Polar, a major award given at the Cognac Festival of Detective Fiction. Frost has been translated into several world languages, including English, and was also the basis for the French television series Glacé. Minier's other books are also a success among readers and critics.
