Six Days, Seven Nights - DVD
He, Quinn Harris, is an interestingly put-together pilot of a bumpy little plane who has willingly accepted a lifetime of exile in a tropical paradise of the Pacific Islands. She, Robin Monre, is the hectic editor of a New York women's magazine, and she's torn herself away from the newsroom for a week to spend a dream vacation with her fiancé, free from the day-to-day worries of work. Well, with a few exceptions. Robin is to oversee a photo shoot for her magazine that is currently taking place "nearby" on a Pacific island. So he hires Quinn and his plane. A banal trip over the bluish plains of the Pacific is turned into a dangerous drama by a sudden tropical storm. The plane is struck by lightning and Quinn has to make an emergency landing on the beach of a small uninhabited island. Survivors. If they want to survive this adventure in good health, they must pull together and find a way to get along despite their different characters, temperaments and interests. And so, while the rescue workers search in vain for the wreckage of the plane, a fragile and unspoken emotional bond develops between Quinn and Robin amidst eternal controversy. When a ship soon appears off the coast, the adventure of the likeable pair of castaways does not end, but instead begins to take the right dramatic turn. The deserted island is the base of modern-day pirates who brutally murder a man in front of Quinn and Robin. Inconvenient witnesses must be eliminated without mercy.
