Skoumal Petr: If a pig had wings - CD

The most famous collection of songs for children, which for more than twenty years has been an excellent example of how to teach children to appreciate poetry in a fun way, through music, wit, and visual humour. The composer and lyricists are all attuned to the same note of a child's playful view of the world.

The songs rhyme absurd situations, such as when “ten Aničkas were walking down the road and met Mr Vaníček,” or “five one-eyed witches fly, fly over the stream.” The title song itself carries a pig, along with the lyricist, up into the clouds. In addition to the album, a theatrical performance was created years ago, which continues to be a success on the stage of the Divadlo v Dlouhé to this day.

A significant improvement in sound quality, along with attractive paper packaging, is one of the advantages of this new edition. The lyrics of all the songs are complemented in the booklet by a study from Pavel Klusák, who evaluates this famous record in the full context of works for children.

The best songs for children, again and in perfectly remastered sound!
