Slash: World On Fire (2014) - CD

Legendary guitarist Slash will release a new album on September 15, 2014. The album will be released under the heading Slash feat. Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators and will be called World On Fire.

Slash became famous as the guitarist of the hard rock band Guns N ' Roses, which he co-founded in 1985. Before leaving the band in 1996 to pursue a solo career, he recorded five albums with it. He has also worked on various projects, for example in the Velvet Revolver supergroup he met with former teammates from Guns N Roses or singer Scott Weiland from Stone Temple Pilots. He released his first solo album in 2010 (guests such as Ozzy Osbourne, Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters or Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas), followed two years later by Apocalyptic Love, on which he has already collaborated with singer Myles Kennedy from the band Alter Bridge. The upcoming new World On Fire will be the third solo work of former guitarist Guns N' Roses and the second album in the line-up with Myles Kennedy, drummer Brent Fitz and bassist Todd Kerns.

Slash is a Grammy winner and a member of the Rock' n' Roll Hall of Fame. Time magazine ranked him second only to Jimi Hendrix in the list of the best guitarists in history. More than 100 million records have been sold worldwide.
