The author takes us to the charming landscape around the cottage settlement in Kersk, where he spent his free time since the mid-1960s. Most of the literary characters have their real-life predecessors in people from the author's environment and we have a unique opportunity to get acquainted with their special hobbies and fates. The text combines the poetic with realistic description, stylized exaggeration with humorous detailing, happy events with sad ones.
In the great performance of XX we will get to know for example the strange vagabond with a heart of gold and love for old films Mr. Karkou, collector of nonsensical curiosities Mr. Metek, or we will relive the legendary story of a dispute between two hunting units over a shot boar.
