Slipknot: All Hope Is Gone (Coloured) (2x LP) - LP

The fourth album was released in 2008, and on it, Slipknot definitely got rid of the nu-metal influence and moved towards groove metal. Now, after the lemon yellow first album, the clear version of the second album and the purple version of the third album, an orange 2LP with All Hope Is Gone is available for the band's fans.

The nine-member band from Iowa combines various types of metal, which is why their work is most often referred to as crossover metal. The group became famous for its subversive lyrics and use of bizarre masks and costumes. The band was formed in 1995 in Des Moines by percussionist Shawn Crahan, drummer Joey Jordison and bassist Paul Gray. The line-up changed for several years, and in 2010 Gray died and Donnie Steele took his place. Corey Taylor remains the lead singer of the band. Their music is a mix of influences brought to metal by Korn or Marilyn Manson, i.e. grind metal, neo-shock rock or rap metal. They are one of the bands that contributed to the worldwide explosion of popularity of nu-metal in the second half of the 90s. The group has performed in the same costumes throughout its existence and its members are numbered from zero to eight on stage.
