Smith & Myers: Volume 1 & 2 (2x LP) - LP

A compilation of recordings from the successful acoustic project by musicians from the band Shinedown, in which they interpret famous songs by Oasis, The Smiths, R. E. M. and other giants of world pop music. Available on CD and 2LP.

Smith & Myers is the side project of Shinedown frontman Brent Smith and guitarist Zach Myers. The idea came from the Florida band's marketing representative at Atlantic Records, who suggested the duo hold an online competition among the band's fans to put together a list of songs they would like to hear the band perform acoustically. The event was met with a huge response, and the group released their own versions of songs like London Calling by The Clash, Nothing Else Matters by Metallica, and Runaway Train by Soul Asylum.
