Smith & Myers: Volume 1 & 2 (2x LP) - LP

Comprehensive release of recordings of a successful acoustic project by Shinedown musicians interpreting the famous songs of Oasis, The Smiths, R. E. M. and other greats of world pop music. It is published on CD and 2LP.

Smith & Myers is a side project by Shinedown frontman Brent Smith and guitarist Zach Myers. The Florida band' s marketing representative at Atlantic Records came up with the idea when he suggested that the pair hold an online competition among the group' s fans to put together a list of songs they would like to hear acoustically in the band' s performance. The event met with a huge response and the band released their own versions of songs such as London Calling by The Clash, Nothing Else Matters by Metallica or Runaway Train by Soul Asylum.
