It doesn't end with death

In the quiet coastal town of Weston-super-Mare, the body of a young woman is found at the foot of a cliff. Just a few months ago, an almost identical suicide occurred here, and Detective Inspector Louise Blackwell suspects it's no coincidence.

In the personal effects of the deceased, investigators discover identical notes in which they say goodbye with the sentence: “Death is not the end.” The investigation gets into full swing. Who or what is behind these desperate acts? And how many more women will plunge to their doom?

Louise is under pressure from the investigation and her own demons – her troubled brother has disappeared with his daughter. When a third suicide occurs, everything begins to point to a charismatic cult leader who dabbles with the psychotropic plant ayahuasca. Can Louise obtain the necessary evidence before more tragedies occur?
