Snippets of time

An imaginative young adult novel in which wizards and time travel are an integral part of dark Ostrava

Jana could be an ordinary high school student, if she didn't have the ability to travel through time. In a difficult family situation, Jana has to fend for herself, so she makes a living selling antiques brought back from the past. On his travels, he more than once recklessly breaks the temporal fabric and draws the attention of the beings guarding the temporal continuity. One such move almost costs her her life.
She is rescued by a police investigator, who eventually even offers her a job in the Special Branch. Jana has to integrate herself into a team of strangers and learn to control her ability properly. She soon learns that there are others who are much more gifted than her - wizards. They have conquered the city and are secretly waging wars among themselves. Jana gets involved in a dangerous game - the one who can change the course of things is a valuable ally and a powerful enemy at the same time. Things get even more complicated when a wizard saves her life. The trouble is not just that it is the right hand of the arch-enemy. It turns out that Petr knows Jana well, while she has never seen him before. Although anything can happen in time...
