Solar equipment in examples

The publication deals with the use of solar energy as a heat source. In the field of solar thermal technology, there is currently a high growth of installations and the trend is moving from relatively mastered solar systems for pool water heating and hot water preparation to applications for heating, cooling and the use of large-scale solar systems in district heating. On the one hand, the book deals with the basics of solar energy use, on the other hand, it develops the current state of solar thermal technology and its trends applicable to the climatic conditions of the Czech Republic and shows their examples. The book provides the reader with a practical, but not simplified, insight into solar collectors, heat storage tanks, solar thermal system concepts and their energy and economic benefits, supplemented by examples of the real impacts of different collector and system designs. The reader can thus orient himself in the current offer on the market and make an informed decision about the real possibilities of solar system applications in a specific case.
