Something God Made - DVD

DVD Film - The cast: Alan Rickman. The film tells the story of two men who, at the beginning of the 1930s, decided to go beyond the established limits of medicine, despite social conventions. Their patients, known as "blue babies", suffer from heart defects that end in drastic death. While Dr. Alfred Blalock (Alan Rickman) and his assistant Vivien Thomas (Mos Def) manage to discover entirely new methods of treating the disease, they fail to convince those around them that Vivien's black skin colour and lack of a university education do not play a role in saving children's lives.
