Anthony Ryan

The British author is originally from Scotland, studied history and lives and works in London. For a long time he was employed in the civil service, but after the success of his first novel Song of Blood (2013; Czech Host 2014) became a full-time writer. The bestselling Shadow of the Raven trilogy after the second volume, The Lord of the Tower (2014; česky Host 2015) culminated in the novel Královna ohně (2015). He also published the first volume of a new fantasy series, The Draconis Memoria: The Waking Fire, which is planned to be published in Czech by Host. The author also continues to write his science fiction series, Slab City Blues, which is being published electronically.
