Songs from Broadway

DVD Film - DVD film Songs from Broadway [1949]. Czech subtitles. Dolby Digital. Fred and Ginger say hello to Broadway - and goodbye to their great partnership. After ten years of working separately, Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers reunited one last time in a clever story written by Betty Comden and Adoplh Green and ably directed by Charles Walters. The plot, according to many, mirrors the real creative tension that existed between the two. Astaire plays professional dancer Josh Barkley, Rogers plays his wife Dinah, who longs to leave the musical dance figures of Bouncin' the Blues and pursue real drama.
