Spaleny Jan, ASPM: Perseids - CD

"Perhaps a hidden fairy tale, the seed of Priapus, or the tears of Laurence. ", Jan Spálený responds to the choice of the title of ASPM's studio album, adding: "The Perseids album does not need to be categorized and preserved. Ergo, a kingfisher pinned in a display case is still beautiful, but it never flies anymore. For my purposes, the Perseids are essential and unmistakable company, allowing me to leave my footprints, shrinking circles on the water, as the equivalent of eternal life. "For his compositions, Jan Spálený chose lyrics by his friend Pavel Vrba, poets and lyricists Jiří Žáček, Barbara Ježková, Ladislav Vondrák and others.

ASPM (Amateur Association of Professional Musicians) moves virtuosically between the genres of blues, jazz, folk and by touching each other they create their own unmistakable expression. Its soul is Jan Spaleny, composer, lyricist, singer and player of cornet and piano. ASPM is a necessary and original segment of the Czech music scene. It plays further in the composition: Michal Gera - trumpet, wingman, Radek Krampl - vibraphone, marimba, Filip Spaleny - double bass tuba, bass guitar, guitar, Filip Jenicek - drums, Table. Ondřej Kabrna plays accordion on the album.
