Stairs: Dance! - CD

Tanec! by the band Schodiště will simply make you want to dance. The band invited various guests to help out, for example, an angelic choir and Prince. Schodiště, formerly known as Nahoru po schodišti dolů band, and their cheerful big beat songs embellished with accordion, saxophone, and clarinet probably don't need a lengthy introduction.

They have been active since the first half of the eighties and are one of the most distinctive ensembles of the Czech new wave. After the release of the album Mokrý prádlo, still under the name Nahoru po schodišti dolů band, drummer Marek Brodský left, taking the name with him. The band, whose shortened name is now Schodiště, currently performs with the line-up: Martin Krajíček (vocals, guitar), Vláďa Cihelka (saxophone, guitar, flutes, vocals), Zdeněk Plášek (vocals, guitar), Jaromír Linhart (clarinet and other wind instruments), Míra Klíma (accordion), Vráťa Horčík (bass, vocals) and Radek Klučka (drums).
