Stargate: A Christmas Story

A magical story from an ordinary city district.
“I didn't give you the name Ronja so you could grow up in Tøyen. Children shouldn’t live where you can’t see the starry sky,” says Ronja’s dad. But Tøyen, a district in Oslo, is exactly where Ronja, her dad, and her older sister Melissa live.
Christmas is approaching. Dad is an alcoholic who mostly hangs out with his mates at the Stargate pub and, due to his constant drinking, can't even handle a simple part-time job selling Christmas trees. Melissa has to step in for him, as she does with many other things.
Ronja just wants to help, so she offers customers fir branches and wreaths. The whole of December revolves around wet gloves, commission, and beer, and how merry (or not) this Christmas will be for the two sisters.
And even though the situation doesn't look promising, thankfully there are still three wise men, a star, and a forest to escape to when things get really bad.
