Status Quo is a British band founded in 1962 under the name “The Scorpions“.

The band initially changed several names, including The Specters, Traffic Jam, The Status Quo . The band released their first album in 1968 under the name Picturesque Matchstickable Messages from the Status Quo .

This was followed by a number of other albums that resulted in several hits, such as “Caroline“ (1973), “Rockin ' All Over the World“ (1977), “Whatever You Want“ (1979) and “In the Army Now“ (1986). ). The band is one of the longest-running rock bands ever, and its two members (Rossi and Perfume) won the Order of the British Empire in 2010.
