Stone Temple Pilots: Perdida - CD

Perdida is the eighth studio album by the American grunge rock band Stone Temple Pilots. It is the second album the band has recorded with new singer Jeff Gutt. The first single from the album is the track Fare Thee Well.

American rock band Stone Temple Pilots formed under the name Mighty Joe Young in 1989 in California. After signing a deal with Atlantic Records, they changed their name and achieved commercial success with their debut album Core in 1992. The record, which skilfully reflected the emerging changes in rock at the time and capitalised on the popularity of the grunge subgenre, is one of the best-selling titles of the nineties. In 2002, the band broke up and its members became involved in other projects (e.g., Velvet Revolver or Army Of Anyone). Later, Stone Temple Pilots attempted a comeback several times. The central figure of the group was singer Scott Weiland until 2013. Chester Bennington of Linkin Park also had a short stint in the band.
