The organization was founded in 2001 and at the beginning there were a couple of enthusiasts-students of the University of Ostrava who wanted to try to change the position of disadvantaged children in the Czech school system. He is now S. T. O. P. a professional organization with employees and implements several distinctive projects, in which people with a big heart who are not indifferent to the world - VOLUNTEERS - continue to be a very important driving force.

S. T. O. P. focuses primarily on the education of children. Volunteers and staff S. T. O. P. they tutor children from socially disadvantaged families, whose parents usually have a basic education and do not have the capacity to teach their children themselves.

S. T. O. P. is also involved in the field of social prevention, leisure activities and helps parents return to work by caring for their children in the honeysuckle Hvězdička. He tries to help where needed.
