Storm over the Falkensee estate

The Falkensee Saga: strong women, great love, and a home that can never be forgotten.
West Prussia, 1942: the Second World War is raging in Europe. Even in the seeming idyll of the Falkensee estate, the women of the Bargelow family fear for their husbands fighting on the front.
In her brother's absence, Heda takes responsibility for the estate. When her fiancé is killed just days before their wedding, planned during his wartime leave, a desperate Heda throws herself even deeper into her work – until she herself is threatened by a forbidden love between their young maid and a Polish prisoner of war assigned to forced labour on the estate. She receives unexpected help from Klemens, a war hero who is hiding more than one secret…
The third novel in the West Prussian family saga is about fleeing home and starting a new life in the West.
