Strange Pictures

A Japanese bestseller that became an international sensation, where a series of seemingly innocent drawings pull you into an unsettling web of unsolved mysteries and broken minds. Journey with Strange Pictures into a macabre world where even the most ordinary things take on a sinister meaning. It all hinges on nine childlike drawings, each concealing a disturbing clue. For instance, a drawing of a pregnant woman on a seemingly harmless blog carries a chilling warning. Or a child's picture of a home that contains a dark, secret message. Or a sketch drawn by a murder victim in the final moments of their life that leads an amateur investigator down a rabbit hole. The mysterious author (or is it authoress?) Uketsu challenges the reader to gradually piece together the individual mysteries and the overarching story that connects them all.
