Štrunc Matěj Metoděj: Lidověk - CD

The album LIDOVĚK is the first solo album of actor and musician Matěj Metoděj Štrunc.

The album was produced by popular singer and guitarist Thom Artway. Folk songs in a modern concept. In the presence of dulcimer, violin, guitar and other acoustic instruments Matěj M. Štrunc permeates the folk song along with drum kit, synths, electronic touch and modern sound. Folk songs from across the regions are mirrored on this album in a new form, with a new touch. A sensitive rendition of the original folk text, but combined with not only acoustic instruments, but also electronic music and ambient sounds. On the one hand, the work uses elementary attributes and simple forms, on the other hand it is based on complicated variations and expressive harmonies. The civil vocal expression underlines the melancholic character of the album and brings the listener an inner personal testimony,

The album was recorded in several recording studios (Soundevice studio, Reset studio, The Artway Record Booth and Avian Recording Studio). The masters of sound were Adam Pakosta, Roman Kašník, Jakub Šimáně. Vincent Stránský is in charge of the mix and master. Drums were recorded by Petr Ptacek, bass guitar by Josef Stranik. The violin was played by Jan Bradáč and the dulcimer by Michal Grombiřík. Guitars and vocals are shared by the main creators, i.e. Thom Artway and Matěj Metoděj Štrunc, whose voice will of course accompany you throughout the album.
