Detective Inspector Petr Brázda has never come terms with his failure to solve the mysterious disappearance of a 14-year-old girl eight years ago. He sacrificed everything to the investigation back then, even his marriage. Now, history is repeating itself as another girl goes missing in the exact same spot. The police officer is convinced that a single perpetrator is behind both cases, and he feels he has just been given a second chance. However, with every passing hour, the trail goes cold and his sense of failure grows. Will Brázda manage to find the missing girl this time – and with her, his own redemption?
