Surfaces: Horizons - CD

Horizons is the third album from the Texan duo Surfaces. “With our third album, Horizons, we want to break down all the expectations, norms, and uniformity that come with concept albums. We were inspired by different decades, which we deconstructed and reassembled to correspond with modern music,” the duo commented on the album. The lead single from the album was Sunday Best, which became an instant hit.

Surfaces, aka Colin Padalecki and Forrest Frank, evoke sunny days, sea breezes, sandy shores, and palm trees with their music. Despite current trends, they stick to positive thinking, fun, and a “don't worry, be happy” philosophy with their jazz-pop sound infused with hip hop, reggae, calypso, and swing.

“Surfaces are currently perhaps the most optimistic and eclectic indie band on the scene.” - Ones to Watch
