Surviving civilization

The audiobook To Survive Civilization contains stories from the travels and life of Martin Vopěnky.

The well-known Czech writer, columnist and traveller has written more than just a gripping travelogue. It is both a penetrating generational statement and a message about the state of the planet and civilization. The author doesn't play the hero or the really great traveller, so his ability to leave the comfort of home and go to the mercy of the harsh nature can be a great inspiration for everyone.
Often humorous or dramatic incidents are interspersed with fundamental thoughts or observations. And since Martin Vopěnka's frequent travel guide is the guru of all adventurers, Jaroslav Pavlíček, one of the toughest men of our time, readers really have something to look forward to.
Thirty journeys take them to Romania, Chile, Argentina, Kyrgyzstan, Nepal, Philippines, Antarctica.., but also to the Small Barracks in Liberec in 1986, because the author just couldn't leave out the crap.
