System Disruptor - DVD

A gripping story of a child whose mother can't cope with looking after her, leaving social workers at a loss. It is a breathtaking testament to inconsolable rage and the longing for love.

German director Nora Fingscheidt makes her debut with this emotional drama about a nine-year-old girl with challenging behaviour and the face of an angel. Helena Zengel delivers an authentic performance in the main role of a film that moves at a pace as intense as its heroine's emotions. The film won the Silver Bear/Alfred Bauer Prize for a feature film that opens new perspectives on cinematic art.
