T. Rex: 1972 CLR

LP Record A year full of T. Rextasy. The band was founded in London in 1967 as Tyrannosaurus Rex by Marc Bolan (vocals, guitar) and Steve Peregrin Took (drums, backing vocals), before being renamed T. Rex in 1970. Starting out with psychedelic folk, the British band soon became one of the most famous representatives of glam rock. The year 1972 was exceptional in the band's career, and it is to this year that the "1972" box set is dedicated, 50 years on. Available as a five-CD set, a six-LP set, or a double LP on white vinyl with selected highlights, "1972" brings together studio, radio, and live recordings from Marc Bolan and T. Rex. After T.
