Journey to the intoxicating scent of sakura and the traditional tea ceremony
Fiona is a passionate photographer, has a travel blog and has long wanted to visit Japan. When she wins a fortnight's trip to Tokyo, she feels like a dream come true. But on the spot, she is horrified to discover that her guide is the man who broke her heart ten years ago - the attractive and successful photographer Gabe.
The time spent with Gabe is initially a punishment for Fiona. The photographer is letting her know how annoyed he is that he has to attend to her. But three generations of local women take her in, and Fiona finds the love and warmth she's been missing in their home and family tearoom. He enjoys a picnic with them under the sakura trees, learning about the Japanese tea ceremony. And thanks to them, she is gradually regaining her self-confidence, which was badly damaged by the incident.
Meanwhile, he and Gabe slowly find their way back to each other while wandering around Tokyo and things start to spark again...
