That Time at Christmas - DVD

That Time at Christmas - DVD
Captain Hloušek's battalion is fighting its way to the foothill village. The year is 1944 and Christmas Eve is only two days away. From the German positions, Christmas music is piped through the speakers. The soldiers are eager to take a breather and celebrate Christmas with the villagers. They are fed up with war. Freshly transferred second lieutenant Jílek, however, disagrees with the celebrations. The soldiers therefore ask permission from the captain, who eventually agrees, but soon understands the meaning of the music being played.
