The Accounting Act in practice

The full text of the Act in force since 1 January 2011 is supplemented by an interpretation of the individual sections and provisions of the Act. The author - a recognized accounting expert and auditor - tries to draw attention to possible interpretation problems that may arise in practice, including links to other legislation. The maximum amount of the fine for violation of the obligations imposed by the law is indicated directly next to the individual provisions. Since 1 January 2011, these rules have been significantly modified. The changes in the text of the law are highlighted in a different font, so it is easy to compare the new and original text. The publication contains excerpts from the explanatory memorandums explaining the proposed amendments. These are e.g. o requirements for ensuring the transparency of accounting applicable to all accounting units and the accounting of the state, which affects accounting units connected to the state budget.
