The alphabet of love

Miloň Čepelka says about the new edition of his poetry collection: "I wrote The Alphabet of Love at the turn of the last century, at the turn of the difficult years of the seventies and eighties, because the rich playfulness of the Czech language gave me faith in better times. When skepticism sometimes comes over me again in my old age, I look forward to the hope that perhaps those simple quatrains can serve someone today. I'd love that."
