The Autumn of Ruth Winters

Former accountant Ruth Winters lives a resigned life without great expectations in her suburban house. Life has slipped through her fingers; she has sacrificed herself for others and long since forgotten her unfulfilled dreams. Ruth likes her daily routine. She has closed herself off in her own world and has no intention of changing anything. The only bright spots are the occasional meetings with her beloved niece. One day, however, she gets a call from her sister, with whom she has never got along. A shocked Ruth must decide whether to come out of her shell. But it's not just old grievances that emerge from the past, but also unfulfilled friendships. Will Ruth manage to pick up where she left off decades ago? Is it possible to break apart the puzzle of life and put it back together differently?
