The Battle of Gettysburg - DVD

A masterfully filmed documentary about significant moments in American history, when the feud between North and South is at its height and Union victory seems out of reach. The Scott brothers and their exclusive filmmaking have contributed to an excellent treatment of the bloody conflict, which they chart step by step, day by day, peering through the lives of the ordinary soldiers and civilians who went through the agonizing hell at the very beginning of July 1863. Three days of fierce fighting left more than fifty thousand dead and severely wounded, and while the battle itself did not end the protracted Civil War, it forever marked and changed America.
